Even if I can only visit online, it is so heartening to see this retrospective.
Now I know why that tennis ball floated out to sea again the other day – and my dog ran off to play with another again instead of swimming after it as usual – just like he did on the day Semsar died.
So maybe, Fremantle is not so far in other ways from Jakarta and Semsar’s essential spirit lives on his art.
